RS&W’s staff is on-call 7 days per week; 24 hours per day. If you have a water or sewer emergency, call (570) 698-6162 to leave your name, lot number, and phone number where you can be reached and your call will be returned promptly.
Please do not use our email, fax, or other means to alert us to an emergency since those systems are not set up to handle time-sensitive issues outside of normal business hours.
RS&W Public Notification System – Emergency Contact Information
Beginning May 10, 2010, a new federal regulation will require that public water suppliers notify every customer within 24 hours in the event of a water system emergency, such as a water boil order. To comply with the new regulation, RS&W will employ an automated phone dialing system which is capable of placing thousands of calls in under an hour. For the system to be effective, it is imperative that we have up-to-date contact information for every household we serve.
